How can a French public development bank support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals that concern the whole world?

Funding requests are submitted by local project sponsors to AFD agencies, which identify the projects and verify their compliance with AFD's sectoral and geographic strategies and the operating rules of financial institutions. Here are the preliminary steps to obtain support for a project from AFD.

Present in 115 countries, AFD is involved in more than 4,000 projects submitted and implemented by its partners, governments, local authorities, civil society organizations and NGOs.
