A high level of financial commitment of €12 BN and a total balance sheet of €64 BN at the end of 2022 reflect the State’s confidence in AFD Group, which plays a key role in implementing the Programming Law of 2021 on inclusive development and our work to reduce global inequalities.
The year 2022 marked the first year of a larger and stronger Group with the integration of Expertise France alongside Proparco and AFD.
This enables AFD Group to adopt an innovative approach to sustainable development that offers solutions in financing, technical expertise and the provision of overall support. The Group’s expansion comes in a year that confirms our financial strength, with a significant increase in its consolidated net income of more than €450 M and a capital adequacy ratio of 14.98%.
